We have a range of real ales and lagers and serve an extensive range of meals lunchtimes and evenings (closed Sunday evenings during January – March).

With the whole pub now being non smoking, customers have a choice of where to eat, the comfortable bar area, the restaurant or our small private dining room which can seat up to 25 comfortably.  Not forgetting our 2 large patios outside, and yes, smokers can relax there and have a meal!

We hold special event nights on a regular basis, these include food themes such as Italian, Chinese and Spanish and entertainment evenings which have been know to feature anything from magicians to local bands (see our forthcoming events page for details)!

Our large outdoor children’s play area features trampolines, swings and small assault course, all surround by picnic tables and over looked by a covered, heated patio area so parents can oversee their children’s play in comfort. Less than a mile from the Alresford station on The Watercress Line, this is a perfect way to entertain your family as part of your day out. We do regret that this area is closed off during the wet winter months as a health and safety precaution.
